Day 3 NYAWM
Hello my fine friends, ladies, and gents. So, admittedly a few of the blogs prior to this were shamelessly ripped of of Nanowrimo (for educational purposes and with excerpts all copyright going to rightful owners as noted in the disclaimer), but in terms of writer encouragement, I thought I'd share a little bit of my progress, and some things I've added to the website.1. The community stats section is still in progress; a pop-up will appear on the website nothing that is the case, you can feel free to close it, and if you do, you will be able to explore the elements I've added on there. Of note, you can see all the other members, access the discord page, and see your own (and others as they add them) excerpt of your story and the description.
Coming soon: I will add a slideshow element, and if I ever figure out how to make a working photo upload for your novel cover, I'll do that as well. In the meantime, if you'd like to see more up to date notes, I have a discord server which you should be able to login to, you can feel free to message me for a link, or click the browser via the community stats page. On the discord, you are able to directly communicate with other writers, share your story, work on different elements and the like.In addition, I am putting a new organized tab for each day under the general-nyawm-discussion section for different items I've been working on to flesh out my world. Some of the topics I've worked on and included blank templates include:
A. Day 1: Character Development
there are questions included to flesh out your characters
(I did a couple of mine, and that was the inspiration for my first day of writing-- woo1)
B. Day 2: Developing the Ordinary World
1. there is a video link from reedsy, where you can get some writer tips.
I am still deciding what I'm going to do for Day 3, but feel free to comment or shoot me a message if you have any ideas.
Happy writing everyone!
